Our parents become our children.  That is very often the reality in our world.  Modern medicine can help us live longer and sometimes better.  But there is still the situations where Mom and Dad don't want to leave their home.  The desire to live independently doesn't go when our hair thins and our hearing goes. What usually happens is one person takes on the responsibility, while trying to organize or coordinate other supporters.  This same thing happens in families where disease or tragedy strikes unexpectedly.
